## The typical home

A 3×25 A connection, a DSMR 5 smart meter, solar panels, one or two cars, and increasingly a heat pump. The site controller on the P1 port sees what the house draws and exports on each phase, every second, and gives each charger the current that is left. With two cars, the second waits until the first is done or shares when there is room.

## What the household gets

- Charging on solar surplus, or solar-assisted with a grid top-up so the car is always ready.
- Charging in the cheapest hours with a schedule, or by telling the app "have the car at 80 % by 7:00".
- The MyCharger app, warnings before something goes wrong, and firmware updates in the field.
- A second charger later without a new connection.

## Parts

Simple charger or charger with display (also with your own shroud); the smart set with EVSE-SC-02 on the P1 port, or the Matter over Thread set; the SG-Ready module when a heat pump joins. See [electronics](/electronics) and [chargers](/products).

For households: [your energy at home](/at-home), with free advice from your bill and the € 100 energy scan on the P1 port that stays as the controller.
