ISO 15118 communication module

An add-on for the smart charger: HomePlug GreenPHY on the control pilot for ISO 15118 digital communication with the vehicle. With 15118-20 vehicles it shows the state of charge while charging on AC and identifies the vehicle for authorisation. Price on request; V2G under investigation.

In short

Two things a plain Mode 3 charger cannot do: know how full the battery is, and know which car is plugged in. With ISO 15118 on the pilot, both become possible, and a charger can start for a known vehicle without a card and stop when the battery is at the level the user asked for.
