The 2026 platform migration

The MyCharger platform moved in 2026 to a new environment, hosted in the EU, because the previous cloud supplier raised its prices sharply. Every site controller that was online was migrated without a visit. A site controller that was offline during the migration, or without a subscription, can be brought over by sending it in for an update.

Which app

MyCharger, one word, on iOS and Android. Make sure you have the latest version of MyCharger from the App Store or Google Play, and remove any older charging app for this charger from your phone. Settings, subscription and charging history are kept; they belong to the site controller, not to the app.

Pairing a new phone

Install MyCharger, allow notifications, choose “scan QR code” inside the app and scan the QR on the site controller in the metering cabinet, not the one on the charger, and not with the phone’s camera app, which opens the payment page instead.

Renewing a subscription

In the app under settings, through the portal at mycharger.edgetech.nl, or by scanning the QR on the site controller with the phone’s camera. Six months, one, two or five years.
